The non-farm payroll was released Friday morning with economist expectations of around 160,000. The report was released with a figure of 175K instead, meaning positive deviation, and possibly bullish movement for the USD.
Unemployment Rate 7.6%
The unemployment rate however, is not good news. Expected to stay the same at 7.5%, the U.S. unemployment rate rose to 7.6% today.
The EURUSD is looking bearish after the U.S. non-farm report. EURUSD has been struggling to break into the 1.33’s. From the looks of it, that won’t be happening today.
