Thursday at 8:30 am Eastern Time (New York Time), the U.S. Prelim GDP is scheduled to be announced. This will be the second release for the first quarter GDP and is expected to confirm the previous figure of a 2.5% growth rate.
Though not expected, if the figure is lower than the already-low 2.5%, that negative deviation could harm the USD.
Also being released tomorrow are the weekly unemployment claims expected to drop from 342K to 340K.
Recently the U.S. Dollar has been relatively strong in the Forex Market. The EURUSD hasn’t seen much movement recently as it chops around 1.29. Tomorrow’s U.S. news can help or hurt the USD. Investors and economists will be keeping a close eye on tomorrow’s activity.
