CB Consumer Confidence
The Conference Board Inc. releases the Consumer Confidence on the last Tuesday of each month.
The Consumer Confidence Report is just that: a report on consumer’s confidence in the economy. It’s a survey of around 5,000 households rating economic and business conditions.
The Consumer Confidence is critical because it influences consumer spending. The new home sales released on Monday were 22K above the forecast meaning there could be a very positive Consumer Confidence level. On the other hand, with declines in the labor market, we could see just the opposite. Pay close attention on Tuesday at 10am EST (June 26th).
