As the GBPUSD hits 2.5 year lows, UK construction figures also hit devastating lows.
Monday, UK construction figures revealed the construction output fell last month at it’s fastest pace in over three years dropping to 46.8.
Optimism for UK Construction
Uk firms expect a rise in UK construction over the next 12 months.
According to Reuters, “On balance, firms expected a rise in overall construction output over the next 12 months, citing new house-building projects as a potential driver of growth, with the degree of optimism the highest since April.”
